Meet Jackson

Meet Jackson

This blog started out all about my life with my new puppy Jackson. He is a Bischon Frise/Shih Tzu mix, born on August 17, 2006. He is 12 pounds of glory and a total stud. I first started this blog with the intention of posting only about Jackson. Since he was a puppy I have taken pictures of him constantly. I can’t get enough of him! Then when I moved back home to Virginia for a year, and Charles was in Philly, I posted pictures of Jackson and what he was doing that day for Charles to see because he missed him a lot.

Its crazy how the blog has transformed from solely about Jackson and what he was wearing every day to a blog about my life and then morphing into a healthy living, eating and exercising focus. It wasn’t long before I was hooked on being a foodie, posting my eats and trying out new recipes all the time. I then wanted to take it one step further with a healthy focus and try to live a healthier and happier life.

I couldn’t imagine even starting a blog without Jackson. He has enriched my life in so many ways and I can’t imagine my life without him. When I first started blogging my site was initially named Jackson’s World and then when I wanted to make the transition over to more healthy living/life blogg, I really wanted to keep him in the title of the blog because he is the reason I started blogging in the first place – hence And Her Little Dog Too.

Hi! I am moving to Philadelphia in August to work at CHOP. I have a 4 month old German Shorthaired Pointer. I am curious if you could recommend a dog park/run, dog walker/daycare, or other dog related things. Thanks!

Wonderful post but I was wondering if you could write a
litte more on this topic? I’d be very grateful

Hi! Your website is fabulous. I was wondering if you’d have any interest in blogging about my product/service. I make memoirs of your pet. You fill out an online questionnaire about your animal, I visit (local customers) and take pictures (for animals still with us) and/or use your pics and then create a coffee table style book with photographs and a written story about the pets life.

    Thank you!

I’m with Lindsey – your videos are absolutely adorable! Jackson too 🙂

I love the way your blog has transformed by the way! Not too many people can pull that one off as smoothly as you’ve done.

      Have a good one!
