That’s Tan-Tastic!

In an effort to have a beautiful sun-kissed look for my trippy-trip this week, I have enlisted the help of some of my dearest friends: L’Oreal, Lancome & Clarins. These are the three powerhouses of the self-tanning industry, as far as I am concerned.

I have a system, if you will, in terms of self tanning application. First come the L’Oreal Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Towelettes for Body. These streak free Medium Natural Tan towels are great for me. You literally just wipe your entire body down, let it dry for a few minutes and then go on your way and the tan shows up a few hours later. It seriously works great and each day you get just a little bit darker, nothing too drastic, nothing to crazy.

Next up is Lancome Flash Bronzer. Its a self tan for the face. You press the middle of the sachet to release the self tanning dose into the petal, which you apply to the face. Its great because of the petal, you don’t get any on your hands, no mess! Winner! I really like the Lancome & L’Oreal self-tan products because they both have Vitamin E in them. Another added bonus.

Lastly is something I use more on a daily basis. I use the other two products when I am going on vacation/will be in a bikini. I use the Clarins Delicious Self Tanning Cream more consistently for that all over facial glow. It is made with cocoa too which makes it smell pretty good too.

So there you have it. Hopefully I will have a great glow when I hit the lazy river on Thursday! I really like a good self-tanner. Its so much better than hitting the fake & bake tanning beds, which I used to hit when I was younger, but now I see the light (thanks to kate monster). I also have become weary of the sun and its harmful rays, so this trip I have packed Aveeno SPF 70 (Thanks Again kate monster). Can’t wait!

I just started using Clarins Delicious Self Tanning Cream. Les was nice enough to show it to me at Norstroms–although it was over $40 dollars, you only need a small amount (maybe twice a week or so) so it will last a while. Also, unlike the other products that I also have used, it does not smell like “tanning” lotion. Yay!
Also, for people like me who do not want extra oil added to their skin, it is non-greasy and does not make you break-out. Double YAY!
