So I have been in the market for a good curler for a while now, and when Mich and I were at Shecky’slast week, I got roped into buying a curler AND a straightener! Oye! Whatever they were both pink, so yay to that! I was so excited because when we tried the product out, we both REALLY liked it. Mich has a Chi, but she said the Jose Eber one we bought (she got one to, ha!) was better. It didn’t pull on our hair at all, didn’t smell of burning at all, we were pretty happy and lets be honest, we loved the pinkness. The curler was awesome too. I have been wanting to wear my hair curly for so long, but I just don’t have the patience, and most of the time, the curls fall out before too long, but this curler is different.
Please embrace the pretty boxes it comes in:
My pretty pink new hair tools and my Michael Jackson glove
Literally this took me about 15 minutes, 20 max because I re-curled a few I started with. I had no idea what I was doing at first, but within a few minutes I got the hang of it. This hair literally stayed like this the entire day. I was out in the sun at the beerfest drinking and hanging out, and my hair was good to go. When I woke up the next morning, my hair still had a good amount of curl to it. I think it’s so pretty!
Lovin my beer & my curls!
I must say, this exquisite beauty comes at a cost: Third Degree Burns!! Ok, I may be being a tad bit dramatic, but I burned myself in 3 different places, pretty badly. This is a picture of the burn on my neck (which now doubles as looking like a hickey, which is awesome) and where I burned the bottom of my ear. These burns happened on Saturday morning and are still kinda bad. I have been soaking them in hydrogen peroxide and neosporin as to hopefully not have a scar. I also burned my thumb, the gloves do NOTHING! I kinda just have to laugh it off, because I loved my hair like this. I will totally do it again, and god willing, get better at it! The curler rocks, I really like it. The straightener is good too, very smooth! And there you have it, beauty is pain, but I think its worth it!
