Up! Up! and Away!

upposter Last night Boyf and I met up with Mich and her man for a little drinks and movie action. We met up at TGI Fridays, since its close to the theater we were going to. Did you know they have happy hour until 9:00pm every night? $2.00 beers, umm yes please!

We decided to go see the new Pixar movie Up. I was super pumped about it because it was in 3-D! I love watching things in 3-D, as you can see here. It makes the experience so much more fun! Here is Boyf and I and Mich and I rocking the 3-D glasses:moving 125  moving 127

I liked the movie a lot, but I knew what I was getting into beforehand. I totally cried at two different points in the movie. Luckily I had on my trusty 3-d glasses to hide the tears which saved some of my dignity since I was sitting in a PG movie with a bunch of children! I don’t know how the kids liked it so much, I feel like it was more geared for adults. Sure there were some silly and funny parts, but I think the whole “Seize the Day” message was mainly for an older audience. I really enjoyed the movie, Pixar never lets me down!

The theatre we went to had a mini Mr. Frederickson (who is the old man in the movie) house. Mich and I totally climbed in and wanted to take pictures, for the blog! Our boyfs were slightly embarrassed, but hey, its for the blog! I love the little house!moving 129 moving 130

We got home at 11:30 and Jackson was half asleep. I tried to get him to rock out the glasses, but he wasn’t having it. Here is my attempt at getting him to try them on:

Today my family is throwing a big 60th birthday party for my dad. There are tons of people coming over and we have lots to prepare. Going to be busy busy! Happy Saturday to all!

Aw, that sounds like such a good movie. I bet I'd totally cry, too. Hehe those 3D glasses came in handy 😉
