My little boy is 3 years old today! I can’t believe it! I wanted to share with you all some of my favorite pictures from his puppy years. I know since he is 3 he is ‘technically’ not a puppy anymore, but in my eyes he will always be one, and most of the time, he still acts like one!
I hope you enjoy this trip down memory lane! These are all pictures from Jackson’s first year!
It was pretty much love at first sight!
Boyf and Jackson got alone pretty well too. They both are from New Jersey so they bonded over their roots!
This is from his first car ride when we took him home. He sat in the backseat and look at us as if he was to say, “Who the hell are you people and where are you taking me?”
One of his favorite toys he loved right away was this squeaky white teddy bear I got him from Target. They were pretty much the same size! I have sewn up holes in this bear because I know how much Jackson loves squeaky bear!
The first few nights were rough. Boyf and I slept on the floor with Jackson because he wouldn’t stop crying. I know it was bad that we gave in, but look how cute he is! Could YOU say no to this face? We started off crate training him, and it was going good for a while, but in the end he ended up sleeping in the bed. I honestly wouldn’t want it any other way. Jackson is a cuddly sleeper! When I first got him, I worked at an office that occasionally let me being Jackson into work with me. He sat at my desk and just slept and watched me type all day. It was heaven having him with me all day! I know he enjoyed it too!
Jackson was so small as a puppy, he fit into my sweatshirt! I always wanted to take him with me wherever I went, and I did whenever I could! The only place I have ever taken him where we got kicked out of was IKEA! Haha, Jackson and I live dangerously!
Jackson is ALWAYS up for puppy play time, but he also knows how to nap like a champ!
I pretty much just can’t get enough of him! (On a side note – Do you like my dark hair, I am thinking of going back to my ‘natural’ color?)
The little prince on his pillow
Jackson used to FREAK OUT when I would shower. He would whimper and cry, I guess he would think I left him. It was very sweet.
Relaxing in his crate with squeaky bear
I love this picture of Jackson. He was such a little fur ball! Check out that white paw!!!
Love my Jersey boys!
Jackson & boyf’s shoe
I love when he gives that “all-knowing” look
Is it weird I have a picture of Jackson using his puppy pad? I am such a proud mommy. He has graduated from these for the most part. Such a good little boy!
Here we are on Jackson’s graduation day from Puppy School at Petsmart. Jackson pretty much had social hour here for the first year of his life with all his puppy friends.
Here is the whole graduating class. Check out the lady smiling in the background! Ha!
Our first trip to the beach! Jackson loves chasing the waves.
We have had so much fun together the past 3 years. I can’t imagine my life without him. I look forward to coming home to him everyday, he is pretty much the light of my life! We have travelled all over together (VA, DE, PA, NJ, NY, MA, to name a few), he is my faithful little sidekick! Stay tuned for more birthday festivities and another fun giveaway coming your way!
Happy Birthday Jackson!
And they lived happily ever after….
