I Wish Every Night Was Taco Night!

I love a good taco night. Sometimes I just get a hankering for some homemade Mexican food and nothing else will satisfy me but a glorious taco night!

I was extra pleased with the way the table was set tonight. I thought everything turned out so pretty! We had taco shells, Mexican rice, ground turkey, refried beans and shredded lettuce. Ole!

It all looked so festive all set out together!

Side Note: Placemats are a serious weakness of mine. I can’t turn down a pretty one and I love to change it up based on the meal!

And what’s a taco night without a little chip and salsa action?

Side note – I am obsessed with my Sagaform double bowl. It was sent to me as part of an OpenSky partnership, but they no longer are on there. Tear. I really love all that Sagaform has to offer – I need to add a few new pieces to my collection.

Do you own any Sagaform?

Seriously, isn’t this bowl the coolest? Is it wrong to love a bowl?

Back to the tacos! They were delicious! I figured after our all vegetable dinner last night, I owed a little bit of protein to fiancé. He appreciated them!

My healthy taco tip for the day is use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream. I love something cool to go on my taco, and its a healthier option!

Anyone else have any good healthy taco tips to share?

I used Chobani instead of sour cream on my taco tonight too. It was the first time I tried it as a substitute for sour cream and I was very pleased!

I love good ole Light Sour Cream on my tacos! Your taco night did look delish, especially with that chip and dip bowl!

I love to load up the veggies. I usually use nonfat sour cream and non fat or reduced fat cheese. I also have found some multi grain tacos which are delish. I also love taco salads because they are so filling! I will use tortilla crispies or break up multi grain taco shells and throw them on top.

I love tacos! I always mix in pepper, beans, and onions with my meat to get in extra veggies.
