Long Weekend Love

Charles, Jackson and I were lucky enough to get a head start to this long weekend – we headed down to Avalon last night and woke up this morning smelling the ocean. It was lovely not to have to fight traffic and we are grateful to enjoy an extra day down the shore!

Here are some pictures from our morning!

I hope everyone has a fantastic Labor Day weekend filled with lots of laughs!

What fun plans do you have for the long weekend?

Have a fun vacation at the beach- I’m jealous! A group of girlfriends and I went to Avalon a couple of summers ago and had a great time 🙂

Why is your dog on the beach if there are no dogs allowed?

Why is your dog on a beach that clearly says no dogs? That’s kind of shitty, coming from a dog lover.

Is your dog Wilfred, the man-dressed-as-a-dog? Otherwise, why is your dog on a beach that clearly says NO DOGS ALLOWED? What makes you think that you and your little dog are a super special snowflakes too? If you love dogs and have any respect at all for people, you will follow the orders of the beach.

I also hope you weren’t ball playing, rafting, surf boarding, sailing crafts outside the assigned areas!!

We’ve owned a house in Avalon for many years and I believe the “no dogs allowed” pertains to the hours of 10 am to 5 pm in the summer season. My sister owns a dog and has brought her frequently for visits and we have walked the beach many times and seen many other dogs and their owners enjoying the beach.
