Friday Favorites: Maxi Dresses Under $50

In honor of Memorial Day weekend, hopefully most of you are enjoying some beach time – or at least some fun out in the sun – over the next few days! It’s so nice to kick off the Summer season with a great BBQ, some sunshine and sand between my toes. In honor of the long weekend I wanted to create a Friday Favorite post around my new favorite obsession – maxi dresses!  I am ALL ABOUT the maxi dress this season, I just purchased my first one not too long ago and I have been on the hunt for more ever since. I can’t get enough!

I know you all love a good deal – just as much as I do – so I wanted to pick my favorite maxi dresses under $50. I love maxi’s so much because they are just so easy to wear – you throw one on and you are good to go! You can wear them with flats, heels, wedges – or layer with a sweater or jean jacket – lots of fun options for sure.  There are also some fabulous deals going on right now, so take advantage of them if you can! Enjoy!

I love the look of maxi dresses but think I’m too short for them 🙁 Loved all the ones here, though!

I was just going to write the same thing! I feel like I’m too short or I’ll look pregnant….But here is one I love! Slightly over $50 but in store this weekend all J Crew Factory is actually 50% off so less in store 🙂

Lauri – each maxi has a different fit, you have to find the right length & style. Some are baggier, some are tighter – depends on the look you are going for. Plus shoes {like wedges} help a lot with length too!

Liz – each dress is really different. I find some that are too long and short for me (and I’m 5’7″!) – I think for those that are shorter, maybe pairing them with some wedges can do the trick. Also knotting the side of a longer dress can give a cool look and shorten it too!
