Stitch Fix Review #5

Stitch Fix5

It’s time for another Stitch Fix!

I love this time of the month where I get to share with you the goodies I get to try out in my Fix. It’s so much fun to track the package and try to guess what’s inside. It’s even more fun when the package arrives and trying everything on while being able to accessorize the looks straight from my closet.

Jackson gets excited too.

Just like every other Fix {feel free to check out my other Fixes here – My First FixStitch Fix #2Stitch Fix #3 and Stitch Fix #4.} it was pretty awesome opening the box.

Check out all the pretty colors and patterns!

StichFix Sneak Peak

This was the first Fix that I requested no accessories/jewelry – which meant another outfit to try on! When I scheduled this Fix, I let my stylist know that I had a few really fun weekends coming up. My sister-in-law is graduating from law school, memorial day is right around the corner and there are countless beach weekends ahead. I requested more dress/top options too, so I was pumped to see what was sent my way.

Here’s what I got in my 5th Stitch Fix:

Love Notes

Miilla Vikki Sheer Eyelet Detail Silk Top {$68}

When I first saw this top, I was immediately in love. If you knew me IRL {in real life} or any of my friends that are reading this – if they saw this shirt in a store, they would think, that looks like Leslie. Just a little thing we do sometimes when shopping – certain pieces remind of us each other, anyone else do that?

Anywho, I love LOVE lace, white, flowy tops. The slight high-low detail is kinda cool too. So immediately out of the box, this top made me happy.

Eyelet Silk Detail

When I put it on, it confirmed my love. I was a bit surprised to actually find that it is completely sheer, but in a way that can be kind of cool. I wore a white tank underneath it for these photos, but it would be fun to wear any color tank under the top too for a fun color pop.

Tulle Charlotte Chevron Print Belted Dress {$58}

I like Chevron print, but I don’t think I love Chevron. However, I see chevron prints everywhere – literally, everywhere – and it looks so cute on everyone, so I was willing to give this dress a try. I do see how it could be cute with black tights, heels and a blazer or flats and a cardigan for a completely different look.

Chevron Print Belted Dress

This dress had pockets {win!} but no twirl factor {wah wah} – but I did think that on it was pretty cute. The belt is a nice little addition and gives the dress a nice shape. I also enjoy how the belt isn’t attached, so I could pair it with a belt of my own for a different look, to break up the chevron. But I will say that the cut of the neckline is a little high for me, I think a little lower would look better.

41Hawthorn Ivy Solid Tab Sleeve V-Neck Blouse {$58}

Love the color of this top. Mint makes me happy. But it does remind me a lot of a top I had already received a few Fixes ago. I really like the shape and the cut of this top – it’s a classic for sure.

Ivy Solid Tab Sleeve V-Neck Blouse

I could easily see this fitting in my wardrobe like a glove. I love the color, the V-neck cut and the detail around the sleeve. It’s super light but I could see it working for all seasons. It’s cute with skinny jeans or leggings. But it does remind me of something I already have in my closet, so I’m a little torn.

Yumi Harris Bow Print Front-Tie Top {$68}

I have seen so many fun printed tops all around the Stitch Fix world – I was excited to try this one out for myself. I love the subtle little bows and the bow front tie, plus the color is great. Such a fun top for Spring, right?

 I think the cut of this is really flattering. It’s definitely different from anything I own. Plus I think it’s really cute with jeans. The material is really different on this top, but I like it.

Miilla Joelle Asymmetrical Sheath Dress {$68}

This I was very unsure of when I pulled it out of the box. I was intrigued by the color, but unsure what to make of the cut. I think it could go really good or really bad, there would be no in-between.

Here’s Jackson checking out my final look.

The back of the dress is really cool – once I got it on the right way, this bad boy was a little confusing – but, this dress is hard to wear. I belted it, which made it look a little better but I don’t think this would be something I would be reaching for much in my closet.

 Looks a little better in this photo, but I’m not 100% convinced.

    These are all cute! You’re lucky. I have been searching out other StitchFix customers to compare to my underwhelming choices. I would have liked any of these. They’are all cute and fit you well. Love the asymetrical dress with your belt. I get that it’s not an everyday dress but it’s really cute and unique for a day you when want to dress up a bit.

    I absolutely love #1 and #4. I am torn about the sheath dress. Love the way it drapes in the back, but not loving the neckline in the front. I think it would look great with a blazer, but then you wouldn’t see the beautiful back.
