Aileen’s First Stitch Fix

Time for another Stitch Fix reveal, but this time it’s not mine.

Today is all about Aileen’s First Stitch Fix! Aileen's First Stitch Fix

As you may or may not have already noticed, I am a little obsessed with Stitch Fix. I get one about once a month and have an absolute blast sharing what I get with you on the blog.

For a good time, check out my first 6 Fixes:

When my BFF Aileen told me she signed up to get her first Fix, I think I was even more excited for her than she was! I asked if she would want to share her first Fix on the blog and she was totally in – Yay!

Aileens First Fix

So for her first Fix, Aileen asked for lots of fun date night/going out pieces. She wanted some fun dresses for summer that could easily transition from work to cocktail hour and she may have also mentioned her deep love for stripes!

Fix #1

Aileen got the same stylist I had in my 6th Fix! Love it!

Ok, without further ado, here’s what Aileen received in her first Fix:

Stitch Fix by Jocelyn

C. Luce Lala Belted Printed Chiffon Dress {$68}

First up is this really fun printed dress. It’s sort of amazing how the bright purple pattern in the front of the dress is completely different than the back. I think it gives a really cool, slimming look. And the bow gives the dress a really great waistline too!

I think Aileen looked gorgeous in this dress – the purple print is definitely her color. This dress is really great for work or play – I love how the style card showed two different looks – a more casual vibe with flats and a jean jacket and a dressier appeal with a cardigan and heels.

Velvet Heart Miena Mixed Striped Button-Up Tank {$78}

Next up is this striped sleeveless tank. I think the blue & white is a great look for summer, I envision this looking adorable with white jeans and some funky jewelry. Its also really cute with the teal skirt, shown in the style card – not something I would have paired with it, but it looks really nice together, especially with the cream shoes & handbag!

I thought this was a cute top for the season, but Aileen wasn’t crazy about the look & fit. Also, the price was a little on the expensive side too!

Dylan & Rose Ruthie Cross-Front Side Ruched Top  {$48}

I loved everything about this top. It has a great shape & fit and its very flattering on. It seemed like an easy piece to dress up or down for literally any occasion – especially a date night!

Ruthie Cross Front Side Ruched Top

I really loved the length of this top for Aileen – she is 5’2″ {I am 5’7″} and this top hit her in a great spot on her torso. It would have been way to short for me, but it looked great on Aileen! This top is simple but I really think you can really do a lot with it!

C. Luce Luella Fit & Flare Belted Dress {$78}

When I think about Aileen & I think about stripes, I literally think about this dress. So adorable, I love the fit, I love the belt, I love the ombre stripes! It’s white, but not too white that you couldn’t wear it during other seasons. I think this would be great with boots & a cardigan and in the fall and maybe a red sweater & tights for a holiday party in the winter!

Seriously, I love this dress on Aileen – I think its another dress you can easily dress up or down and wear to work or another fun event. Plus the neckline and the print makes this super easy to pair with a really fun & colorful statement necklace!

41Hawthorn Mini Circle Bubble Necklace {$28}

And Aileen’s final item in her first Fix is this really cute mini bubble necklace. I love the teal and gold – such a great color you can wear with almost anything.

    I loved #1, #3 and #4. (Maybe #4 is a little big for Aileen, it’s hard to tell from the photo).

    I just bought that velvet heart tank online on sale for $19.60! I would’ve not been happy had I got that and bought in my fix and then saw it on sale!
