Stitch Fix #7 {review}

Guess what time it is?!

Time for another Stitch Fix!

I can’t believe this is my 7th Fix! Time sure flies when you are having a blast trying on awesome clothes. And let me just give you a little hint on my 7th Fix -> {it’s my favorite one yet – by far!}

For a good time, check out my other Fixes:

This Fix is a little different for me, because I shared with my stylist when I scheduled my Fix that I would be 3 months pregnant for my 7th Fix, so I requested options that would ensure I would be comfortable and cute in – and be able to wear for the next few months with a growing bump. A lot to ask for, I know, {especially since Stitch Fix doesn’t technically provide maternity clothes} but I was excited to see what would be sent my way.

My stylist, Lily, did an amazing job. I seriously loved every single thing she included in my Fix. So without further ado – here’s what was included in my 7th Stitch Fix:

Stylist Thought These Would Look Great On You

Renee C. Madelyn Open Drape Front Cardigan {$48}

This open cardigan is a must have for any closet! I am always carrying a cardigan or jacket with me wherever I go and I love the color and the shape of this one. The drape front is so cute and makes to perfect to pair with skinny jeans or a pencil skirt. You can wear it with a basic tank and sandals for a casual vibe or over a dress and heels for a dressier look. Not to mention it’s a great wardrobe addition for any season.

Renee C Madelyn Open Drape Front Cardigan

I have cream and black sweaters that are similar in shape, but I seriously was obsessed with this pink/coral color. It’s so pretty in real life and I know it will easily pair with so many things I already have in my closet. Plus I will be able to wear it throughout my entire pregnancy since there is definitely room for the bump to grow!

Madelyn Open Cardigan

Angie Ingrid Striped Tank Dress {$68}

This striped tank dress is really great for work or play – heels and statement jewelry will easily dress it up for a night out or a denim jacket and flats are perfect for a casual weekend look.

Angie Ingrid Striped Tank Dress

When I first saw this dress I initially wasn’t in love. But when I put it on, I was HOOKED. It is seriously so soft, so light and so comfortable. It has great coverage up top, with a slight boatneck cut and it is the most perfect length – not too short, not too long, it hits me in a really great place.

Here is the dress by itself, with no accessories:

Tank Dress by itself

I have to say, by itself, aside from being super comfortable and fitting my like a glove, it needs a little somethin’ somethin’ – so I paired it with a colorful bauble necklace, added a necklace which I think gives a great waistline and dressed it down with a denim jacket, like the style card suggested. Love this look.

Tank Dress Twirl

It also looks cute with the pink cardigan also included in the fix. I think with the black and white color scheme you can really add any color sweater or jacket, necklace or belt to enhance the look of the dress. And the shoe-pairing possibilities are endless!

Did I mention this dress has a fantastic twirl factor?!? I am a little obsessed.

Chris & Carol Jordaine Striped Maxi Skirt {$48}

Maxi skirts {and Maxi dresses} have quickly become a staple in my closet. The loose, relaxed fit of this maxi skirt is perfect for all-day wear – not to mention the classic striped look is super cute.

Chris & Carol Jordaine Striped Maxi Skirt

When I first pulled this skirt out of the box, I didn’t think much of it. I mean, I thought it was cute, but I wasn’t dying to try it on. It was the last thing I tried on in this Fix – and I didn’t want to take it off! It’s so light and soft, you literally feel like you aren’t wearing anything! I love a good maxi and I will be able to wear this into the fall for sure!

Jordaine Maxi Skirt

Angie Moni Stud Detail Mixed Print Blouse {$58}

This top is something I was so excited to see when I opened the box to this Fix – I requested this style of top two fixes ago, but they were always sold out! So when this new fun print made it’s way to me, I was pumped to try it out! I love the versatility of this blouse – especially the retro-inspired print and stud detail. You don’t need to pair much with it in order to dress this blouse up or down because of the cool pattern and fun studs.

Angie Moni Stud Detail Mixed Print Blouse

When I put it on, I knew I was in love. Obsessed with the style, fit, pattern and fun colors. I likely wouldn’t wear it with jean shorts, as shown below – I think the top would be much cuter with jeans {white jeans?}, a pencil skirt or capris but I just think this top is really cute. What do you think?

THML Kahlo Embroidered Racerback Tank {$48}

Again, another tank I requested that I just love! I think the blue and white stripes with the yellow embroidered detail around the neckline gives this tank a unique and fun look. So summery too! The trapeze hemline {one of my favorites!} also gives the tank a fun and flirty look too!

THML Kahlo Embroidered Racerback Tank

Seriously, I am in love. This tank is so fun and easy to throw on and look adorable. It’s light and comfortable and fits great – It’s also something I will be able to grow into for a while! And just like everything else Stitch Fix sends me, you can easily dress it up or down for completely different, yet fun & stylish looks!

So there you have it – my 7th Fix! Like I said, this is my favorite Fix yet, I love it all!

I am seriously contemplating keeping everything – when you keep all 5 items you get a 25% discount – which basically gives me *almost two items for free! Now I need your help to decide – What to keep?

    I have that maxi skirt, but mine is a little fuller cut, which I think would look best on you as your tummy grows! Love the rest of the items, especially the cardigan!

    The striped dress is so fun and flirty; ideal for summer/spring! Definitely keep that one. I love a dress like that, it looks so fashionable, yet comfortable!

  • Reply Holly July 17, 2013 at 9:15 pm

    I say keep them all -they all look great on you and there seems to be room to grow! Until you have a big bump, maternity clothes tend to not fit all that great (in my opinion), so these would be great options until you really need maternity tops!

  • Reply Sabrina July 18, 2013 at 9:05 am

    Hey lady

    I honestly think you should keep them all:

    1- you can wear forever pregnant or not, and while it’s this summer’s color it’s a color that will always look good with your skin tone.

    2- you won’t be able to wear it while nursing but you will have date nights and it looks comfy and cute at the same time so I’d keep that one too.

    3- I LOVE it! You can wear it forever – even in the winter with a cute sweater. You have to keep this one for your growing bump!

    4- This is so pretty and flattering on you and I love the details.

    5- Perfect for your trip in the fall (if it still fits) with a little jacket and some pregnancy friendly leggings!

    Definitely keep #3! mMy favorite 🙂

    Your Stitch Fix stylist did a great job picking out items you could wear during your pregnancy. I would definitely keep that cardigan – the color is gorgeous on you, and you can wear that now and even after your baby is born. I would keep the stripe dress as well, and the print top is adorable.

    Did you have different stylists for your “fixes” or do you request the same one? I just scheduled my 1st Stitch Fix tonight. I’m excited to see what I get!

    • Reply Leslie July 26, 2013 at 7:51 am

      MB – I haven’t requested a specific stylist before, but I have gotten the same one more than once. I bet if you wanted too, you would be able to request someone in the comments section when you schedule them. Let me know what you get in your first FIX!

    I just ordered my first Stitch Fix. I started reading their reviews and stumbled on your blog and this post. I HOPE they do as good of a job on my box as they did on your box. I loved everything in this post! Now I have to go back and read your first 6 Stitch Fix reviews.

    • Reply Leslie August 12, 2013 at 9:29 am

      Thanks Milissa – so exciting you ordered your first fix! Let me know what goodies you get!

        Hi, Leslie!

        I completely understand loving the comfort and twirl factors of the striped dress! However, I gotta say that the style just seems to shorten the torso and square off the curves of everybody who tries it, regardless of body shape. I probably went through thirty blogs last night looking for Stitch Fix reviews and at least half of them were sent the dress. It didn’t look horrible on anybody, but it didn’t exactly flatter, either. Not to mention that all striped dress recipients only said they liked it after almost completely covering it in belts, necklaces, and jackets. It just seems like A) people have to work really hard to love it, and B) I’m 98.5% sure I saw something exactly like it at Target. The only way I would keep it is if keeping all five items is a better deal than sending some back.

        Hope this helps. And congratulations on your little one!!

        Happy Weds,

    It is important to understand how video games are rated.
    This particular trick may help your dividing the inhospitable
    forces rendering it easier to ruin them. With more than 2,000 apps including Bejeweled Blitz, Diamond Dash,
    Bubble Safari and Song Pop, there are several games to select from, whether they’re
    strategy games, puzzles as well as card games.
