The Flex Belt Review

As a blogger who shares a large part of my life online, I can honestly say I will pretty much try anything once, especially if it’s for a blog post. I love trying out new things & documenting them to share on the internet, as I’ve told you many times before. Today, I’m excited to share with you my review on The Flex Belt.

First let me say that I know there is no replacement for a healthy diet & exercise routine in your life. I’ve been making it a priority to live a balanced lifestyle myself for years and I feel good about the place I am in. That being said, I had a baby 6 months ago & my abs need a little extra love {and making time to workout as much as I would like doesn’t always happen these days, as much as I try to make it a priority.} So when I was given the opportunity to test out The Flex Belt, I though it would be fun to try out for review on the blog!

The Flex Belt

From the website:

The Flex Belt is the first Ab Belt Toning system cleared by the FDA for Toning, Firming and Strengthening the stomach muscles. It’s innovative design and comfort deliver extremely effective abdominal contractions. With The Flex Belt, you can train your abs even if you’re too busy or too tired for a traditional workout. Just slip on the comfortable toning ab belt and the clinically demonstrated, patented medical-grade technology stimulates the nerves that make your muscles contract and relax. As a result, you get an effective abdominal workout that targets all the muscles in your abdomen – all in just 30 minutes a day.

Here’s How It Works: The unique construction of the Flex Belt® features three pre-positioned, medical-grade Gel Pads, covering the central abdominals and external obliques. During your toning session, signals from the Flex Belt® reach out to nerves where they are most concentrated. These nerves branch out to all of the stomach muscles causing them to contract and relax naturally, working all of the muscles at the same time, not just those directly under the gel pads.

So the Flex Belt is pretty user friendly and easy to put on and take off. You set the timer and you set the intensity of the belt {you work your way up each day} and you feel a mild, pulsing sensation. You control how powerful the intensity is and as you get stronger, you can work your way up, it goes from 1 – 150. I put mine on in the morning, took the dog & baby for a walk, made breakfast, did laundry, whatever and basically forgot about it for 30 minutes while it worked its little magic.

I will say that you can definitely feel your abs contracting and relaxing though out the whole process – and what’s even crazier is that I have lost 2-3 pounds while using this little guy in the past 2-3 weeks. But I’m sure that it was in part to my new Green Monster obsession and my Tummy Time routine with Brooks as well.

It was really fun to test out The Flex Belt and aside from feeling a little extra toned in my midsection, it was really great to focus on my abs & give my tummy a little extra love {that it needed ever since carrying around little man inside it for 41 weeks!}

Here’s my Before & After -> 2 weeks using The Flex Belt {combined with eating right & exercising}. I don’t think this is something you can just put on and expect to have a six pack the next day. Like anything else, you have to work for the results you want. I’ve been working to get back to my pre-baby weight & while I’m still only a few pounds away, I’m proud of my progress and what my body has accomplished this past year!
