Stitch Fix #15 Review November 2014

Happy Monday!

I’m excited to share another Stitch Fix with you today!
baby fix

I received this Fix over the weekend & I’ve been going back and forth about what I want to keep – I really need your help today.

For this Fix I requested casual, easy pieces to wear for everyday – especially cozy pieces for the Fall season. I requested things that would layer well & would easily take me into the winter, when paired with the right accessories!

fix on the go

Here’s what I received in this months Fix ->

Miilla Niko Faux Suede Asymmetrical Button Jacket {$98}

Miilla Jacket upclose

This jacket was hard to photograph, but I did the best I could to show you what it looks like in real life. It’s a very soft suede like material, but not suede – faux suede. The inside of the jacket is a soft and warm sherpa fleece, which makes it so comfortable. I don’t own anything like this and it isn’t really something I would reach for in the store, but I am sort of into it. I really like the fun, chunky neck!

FYI – The coloring of the above photo turned out weird, the actual color is darker, like the photos of me wearing it below. Just a heads up!

Miilla Jacket

I tried this jacket on with a dress & another top I revived in this Fix, see below for more on these pieces and I think it sort of worked with both – but I like it best with the jeans for sure!

If this jacket had pockets, I’d be all over it – but sadly it doesn’t – WHYYYYY? I think everything should have pockets but thats just me. Either way, I still sort of like this jacket, but I’m having a tough time deciding if I should keep it! What do you think?

I took a bunch of pictures in this jacket – with a jeans & a dress look because I wanted to show you what it really looks like & really get your thoughts on the jacket itself – I’m totally torn on if I should keep it or not. What do you think?

Daniel Rainn Mathews Mixed Print Blouse {$28}

I love the colors, the design and the price point of this top! It’s light and flowy but has some shape to it as well. I sort of wished the pattern continued on the back instead of the black but it’s still a nice top. Would be easy to wear with a black wrap in the colder months & easy to dress up with back pants because of the nicer material. What do you think about this top?

Street Level Haddie Chain Edge Crossbody Tote {$64}

For this Fix I asked to try out a black bag – I am not really loving the chain link design on this cross-body tote but I do like the shape and size. The chain detailing isn’t really me…even though looking at these pictures, the bag does look great with the boots! Ha! Not really sure I’m into it though – what do you think?

Gilli Mollee Dolman Sleeve Striped Dress {$74}

I saw this dress somewhere online and asked to try it for myself in this Fix. It’s sort of a navy & grayish green striped color, which I enjoy. It’s easy to throw on and very comfortable. It gives nice coverage and is a nice length as well – I think it’s flattering on me. But I’m not sure how much wear I would get out of it as we are going into colder weather – could be cute in the spring though.

LA MADE Nordridge Cowlneck Jersey Top {$68}

This top is more like a tunic than anything else, at least on me. It’s a size medium and it feels pretty loose on, but I’m not sure if it’s meant to be that way or not. I like how comfortable it is – and it’s cute with skinny jeans & leggings because it covers the bum! It’s a nice waffle-like jersey material – and it’s flattering too! Does it look too big on me? I like it and could see myself wearing it a lot, but I’m not sure it’s worth the $68 price tag – What do you think?

Now it’s time to help me decide what to keep:

Decisions, Decisions!

I always love to know your thoughts & I really do wait to “checkout” until later this evening to see what you have to say! Help! What should I keep?

    First, I just LOVE your little helper! I voted and I also know who took the photographs!!

    My thoughts:
    I really like the jacket and feel like you’ll usually be wearing it with jeans (for pockets) anyway.
    I love the dress and think it would be super cute with tights this winter. Tights and heels for a comfy date night dress too.
    I like the tunic top but if you don’t LOVE it, you can find something really similar for less than $68.
    Q: are you getting use out of purses now? Packing a purse and a baby bag? Just throwing a changing station into the purse? Purses when you’re put on your own? What’s happening? : )

      Genevive – I use a purse if I am out and about in the city and keep all the diaper bag stuff under the stroller – then I wear my purse. I like to keep my wallet & phone & keys & stuff close and cross-body bags are my favorite for that!

    I like the jacket but it doesn’t look like it fits well (the way the space between the buttons sticks out)

    I always look forward to these posts! But I have to say I’m not love love loving anything for this fix :/ if I had to pick I would say the dress

    I love the Daniel Rainn blouse – I kept it in a fix this past summer, but I paid $68 for it! I wonder if the lower the prices when it’s an older item/end of the season. I got it in July so I guess that makes sense.

      I bet that’s what they do – since it is a little out of season!

    I’m just a random stranger who was looking for Stitch Fix reviews on the internet. 🙂 But I had to say that both the dress and the cowlneck tunic look amazing on you! You could make the dress more cold weather friendly by wearing tights with your tall boots, and adding a cardigan.
