December Stitch Fix #17 Review

For this Stitch Fix, my usual stylist Layla was unavailable so I got to try someone new. I have had Layla as my stylist for SO MANY of my past Fixes. It’s awesome when you have the same person styling you because they get to know what you like & what you are into, but then it’s also lots of fun when someone new gets to pick out clothes for you because you get to try someone and something new!

This Fix was styled by Michelle! mail day

For this Fix I asked for some fun pants, something to wear to a holiday party and just general pieces that can be versatile for day to night looks. I think Stitch Fix always does a great job for me with giving me pieces I can easily transition from wearing during the day to going out in at night -> Love that!

So without further ado, here’s what I received in my latest Fix {with a new stylist!} Check out my pieces and please let me know what you think!

Side Note: Apologies in advance for the inside the house photos with the crazy hair & no make-up. Time {and the weather!} was not on my side when taking these pictures!

Fun2Fun Kassidy Open Lattice Detail Tank {$28}Fun2Fun Kassidy Open Lattice Detail Tank

This tank is sort of crazy but also sort of awesome. I would NEVER {NEVER!!} reach for a tank with an opening in the mid section. This gal is 30 years old! But I figured it would be fun to try on and you know what, I sort of dig it. I don’t think its inappropriate at all – I think it’s subtle, a little sexy and fun. Totally easy to throw on for a holiday party or date night and it’s really forgiving because it doesn’t cling to any of your problem areas -it’s flow, lovely has an interesting back and check out that price point. I’m digging it- what do you think?

Margaret M Emmer High Waisted Cropped Trouser {$98}Margaret M Emmer High Waisted Trousers

These are the same pants my mom received in her 4th Fix – but she got a way more fun pattern/color – I love a good black pant and the fact that these are pull on with lots of stretch is all sorts of awesome. In my mind, you can never have enough good black pants. I also enjoy the cut & length, but they are a little pricey – what do you think?

Skies are Blue Terese Quilted Faux Leather Jacket {$88}Skies are Blue Terese Quilted Jacket

This is a fun piece because I love a good leather jacket. The quilting on this faux leather jacket is nice, it’s a good weight but more for spring/fall than winter for sure. It’s very similar to something I already own in real leather so I will probably pass on this one but it’s a nice jacket for sure. If you are in the market for something like this totally add it to your next Fix wish list!

DL1961 Moscow Skinny Jean {$168}

DL1961 Moscow Skinny Jeans

I asked for a new pair of jeans in this Fix & they were sent my way. I love the color, cut and overall fit of these bad boys, but they are WAY more than I would want to spend. I actually picked up a pair of similar looking jeans on Black Friday for much less. I like these, but I don’t love them for the price. What do you think?

Street Level Parvin Reversible Hand Tag Detail Tote {$58}Street Level Reversible Parvin Tote

This bag is fun – I love the cognac color and the fact that it’s reversible to this gorgeous green. It’s even more pretty in person. Just not sure I love the two toned straps – I wish they were green on the green side! But it does come with this cool insert which is sort of like an extra bag! The leather is soft and buttery and it holds a good amount of stuff – would easily make a nice diaper bag and it’s not too pricey. What do you think?

    This is a perfect fix! I love the whole outfit of red tank, jacket and black pants! Plus, that bag is fabulous! The jeans look great on you but are WAY to expensive.

    I’m positive you kept the red tank – very cute on you and perfect for the holidays! I wouldn’t be surprised that you kept the bag as well, but I think this was a good fix for you – everything looked very nice on you!
