Stitch Fix Maternity #4

Hey Everyone I hope you had a fabulous, sunshine-filled Memorial Day weekend! I hung out in Bethany Beach, Delaware for the first part of last week {with my parents} and then made my way {by ferry boat!} over to Avalon, New Jersey to meet up with the Hubs & to spend the rest of the long weekend with his side of the family. It was a busy week and Brooks + I were definitely all over the place {which you can see by all our Instagram photos!} Needless to say, a good time was had by all!

Now, onto today’s Fix!

After my last three maternity Fixes, which were not that awesome {check them out here} I was a bit discouraged because I kept being sent pieces that I would wear to an office, most were very dressy. I’m a SAHM so I need fun, casual pieces to wear to the park & mess around in! I asked for versatile pieces for spring & summer – I tried to make that VERY CLEAR this time and this Fix was a bit more to my liking.

While this Fix was more my style I think this is going to be my last one until the  baby arrives! I only have 3 more months, give or take a week or so and I want to wear what I have and then focus on pieces I can wear in the Fall that are comfortable for nursing! We shall see, but I’ve turned off my Stitch Fix delivery for now!

So without further ado, here’s what I received in my fourth Maternity Fix –  Check out my pieces and please let me know what you think!

Market & Spruce Lynn Maternity Knit Top $48

Lynn Maternity knit Top

This top I was immediately drawn to because of the fun patter and color. It’s comfortable and casual and easy to wear while hanging out with B at the park. BUT once I put it on it sort of reminded me of a shirt I had recently seen at Target, but for about half the price. The shirt was nice but not nice enough to spend $50 on, in my opinion – I don’t love it enough for the money. Do you think it’s worth it?

Pale Sky Lottie Pleated Maternity Blouse $68

Next up is this pretty floral blouse. When I first took it out of the box, I didn’t think much of it but when I put it on I immediately loved how comfortable it was. I enjoy the floral print and the fact that it’s “maternity” without looking really maternity. This is the sort of thing I would buy for myself to wear with skinny jeans or leggings because its loose and flowy.  I also think the button down aspect will be nice for nursing in the Fall, along with a cozy cardigan or sweater, jeans and boots! It’s not a stretchy material, but I have room to grow – what do you think?

Papermoon Jobi Mix Material Knit Top $44

Papermoon Material Knit Tee

When I took this top out of the box I loved the color. It’s sort of a weathered coral, which is a great shade. I also enjoyed the mixed material and little panel on the side which gives me room to grow – but I think this could also be a nice top to wear post baby, that would be loose and comfortable. I think it’s nice to be able to dress up a little bit with some fun accessories or just throw on and still look nice – especially for the price. What do you think? Do you like it?

Sweet Rain Amsterdam Short Sleeve Cardigan $48Sweet Rain Cardigan

This is a cozy little number that is great for a cool spring/summer night and early in the fall too. I really like the details on the sweater/cardigan and how it’s loose – I have something similar in a grayish brown that I wear all the time, in fact, I just  wore it last night. Not sure if it’s too similar to what I already have, but I enjoy the neutral pink aspect. What are your thoughts?

Rune Kiley Maternity Ankle Zip Leggings $58
Maternity Ankle Zip Leggings

I asked for shorts in this Fix but my stylist said they were out so she sent me these leggings. I sort of love the fact that they are navy and that the have this super cute gold zipper. Not sure how much use I will get out of them this summer, as they sort of make me hot looking at them, but I think they are really cute and could be comfortable for post-baby & the Fall and life in general. They aren’t a full panel so they are a bit easier to wear without the bump.
