Brooks’ Favorite Books

Instead of doing a Favorite Things post for little man at 16 months old, I decided to go a different route this month. We haven’t gotten any new toys lately {other than picking up this little number, which has been the best money I’ve spent lately and a total life saver as Brooks is obsessed with it!} because it’s so nice out {most of the time} we are usually out and about, hitting up a park or doing some sort of activity outside. I’d rather be doing that than anything else !

Brooks Books

BUT Brooks loves to read and we always read multiple books a day, especially a few before nap time {its our ritual} – so I thought it would be fun to share what we are currently reading! These are a few of Brooks’ favorite books and are also our favorite books to read to him. Most of these I can recite word for word on command {its a talent} and because of that I’m looking to spruce up our little library!

Check out our favorite books and PLEASE SHARE what your little one is currently loving to read!

Other local favorites include the Good Night Our World series, which you can find for every state. We also got local Christmas and Easter books too!

We’ve also gotten a few personalized books as gift that we really enjoy  – you can check them out at Put Me in the Story & I See Me – both of which are awesome for gifts, if you are in the market for any!

Now it’s your turn to share, for my sanity – please give me something new & fun to read-

What’s your little one’s current favorite book?

We love Sandra Boynton, Usborne books, and any books with pictures if real things/people. Happy Baby Words, My Little Animal Book, First 100 Words, etc. Also, have you heard of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library? A free book every month from birth to age 5! Some of the books are a little eh, but lots of them are great, and give me an idea of other books my kids would like. We like to frequent our local library, too.
