Looking Back At Our Baby Favorites For Baby #2

I have been on a MAJOR nesting mission. I’ve not only decided to take on changing our guest bedroom into Brooks’ “Big Boy” room BUT I’ve also decided to Spring Clean {in the 100* Summer, 8 months pregnant, who am I?} my entire house.

I’ve become completely overwhelmed with all the stuff we have. Everything has just piled up over the years and I feel like while I’ve done my best to clean things out with each move, it just hasn’t been as efficient as it needs to be. Add in my need to nest and my mission in life the next week is to go through every closet in our house and donate, toss and keep only the essentials. We have another person coming into our lives very soon, so we need to make room for him!

And let me tell you, I’m in the mood to PURGE! It feels good!

Luckily, my parents are coming up a few days this week to help me out – because this sort of mission involves backup! But before they get here I’ve been trying to pull everything out and give it a quick look to see what we can immediately get rid of.

This also has caused me to create our baby pile of stuff that has been packed away over the past year which we will soon be using again for #2! I can’t wait to get more use out of so many of our baby favorite!  So I decided to make a list to share with you what we have loved over the past year.

Here are a few of our favorite baby items, that we’ve used since the beginning – many of which we still use today at 1.5 months old!

Check it out:

one / two  / three / four / five / six / seven / eight / nine

Numbers 1, 2, 5, 7 and 9 are still very much in constant rotation of use in our house – it’s going to be nice to share all those things with another little boy as Brooks continues to grow! {Minus the wubanub, we will start fresh with a completely new one there!}

All these things made my life as a new mom, and now as a mom of {almost} two, so much easier!

Now it’s your turn to share  – what are your current or past baby favorites?!

I can’t wait to hear them!

I have to give some extra love to #5 on the list – the Diaper Genie Elite Pail System w/100 ct. Refill {which I picked up at Target} – especially the new  “Mommy Time” Rewards Program ->you can can earn points to use towards great rewards every time you buy or register for Diaper Genie products. I’m sort of obsessive about anything I can get points for, what can I say, it’s addictive!

Here’s a little more information about the program:

By enrolling in the Mommy Time Rewards Program, moms can take a little more ‘me’ time.  Once enrolled, every time you register or purchase participating Diaper Genie products, you can earn points towards rewards for your favorite products and services. Here is how it works:

1. Buy: Purchase participating Diaper Genie products

2. Snap: Take a photo of your store receipt using your mobile phone or upload a photo of your receipt or baby registry from your desktop and create your own Mommy Time Rewards profile at MommyTimeRewards.com

3. Redeem: Log in to your Mommy Time Rewards account to redeem your points for eGift Card rewards.  Mom can reward herself with her favorite products from participating retailers like Sephora and Zappos, or eGift Cards for massages, dining and more.

Be sure to take advantage of the Diaper Genie “Mommy Time” Rewards Program! Earn points to use towards great rewards for yourself every time you buy or register for  Diaper Genie products

Can’t wait to get you more organized and ready for Baby #2! The nesting is you getting ready for his birth – which will be very soon! I love reward programs too – why not when you shop for things you love!
