Brooks’ Christmas List – Great Gifts for Any Two Year Old

So I have a confession to make. While I do have plans in the future to do the whole 4 gifts thing – something they want, something they need, something to wear, something to read – this year, is not going down that path. I’m getting a little too excited for Christmas this year with Brooks.

Sure, last year his first Christmas was special, and it will be special for Graham’s first Christmas this year as well, but Brooks being able to open gifts and get excited about presents is a game changer. I’m so excited for his excitement!

I feel like now is the perfect time to do a little spoiling of my little one because he won’t know any better! I figure spoil him while we can and while he doesn’t even know the difference, then we can tone it down later. But I’m sure the grandparents will always continue to spoil!

We are still in the place where I talk with him about Santa + being good and sort of explaining the whole, the big guy in the red suit brings you presents {if you are good}. I started the whole Elf on the Shelf game – Brooks isn’t 100% into it, but we come downstairs and look for him everyday. The more we talk about it, the more I can see him getting into it and understanding.

And I’m sure he would be just as excited to simply tear wrapping paper off an empty box, I’ve been picking up goodies for him left and right. Amazon prime – and this group – is my downfall {in the best way possible}. For me, I really think Christmas is for toys for kids – and Brooks honestly needs a little toy refresh!

So today I wanted to share a little bit of Brooks’ Christmas List – aka, my list for him, but what we, the grandparents + family are picking up for the little guy this year. Check it out and let me know what you think:

Brooks' Christmas

one / two / three / four / five / six / seven / eight / nine

What are you getting your little one for the holidays?

Please share!

I think you have a great Santa list for Brooks and I totally agree with you that toys are for Christmas and yes, the grandparents will continue to spoil, and it’s our right of passage!
