Cheers to 2016!

2015 has sort of been a blur.

Being pregnant with Graham most of the year while chasing after a toddler and then having a newborn while still chasing after a toddler has made this year a very busy one. A beautiful, messy, crazy, amazing year – but busy!

best of

For 2016 I don’t want to set resolutions like I have in the past. I feel like that would be setting myself up to fail. I just want to focus on my boys and being the best mom I can be for them. And the other thing I want to focus on in 2016 is ORGANIZATION!

I am feeling the need to go through everything, every room, every space in my house and re-organize. With city living, with two littles, organization is essential and I feel like there is some opportunity for me to improve upon in that realm. I want to declutter, organize and have more space for what’s important {physically and mentally!}

If you have any good organization tips or websites, please feel free to pass it along!

With the turn of the New Year, I love to look back and see where things are currently at – where they’ve been and where they are going in 2016. Last year was all sorts of crazy and all sorts of fun with the addition of Baby Graham to our lives – he’s been such a blessing and so much fun, but two under two is a lot of work!

I wanted to put it out there to you, my lovely readers, to help me evaluate my blog. I want to check in with you and see what you are here to read about! I’d love your help with allowing me to have a better grasp on my blog demographics – so I can give And Her Little Dog Too a little update in the new year!

Please take a moment and answer a few quick questions – use this link here!

What are you focusing on in 2016?

Please share!

And for a little more fun, check out my past resolutions {from the blog!}

    Have you read “The life-changing magic of tidying up” by Marie Kondo? It really changed the way I view my belongings and where they are stored in my house. I recommend it to everyone because I love it that much! My focus for 2016 is “fresh”. We are moving (tomorrow!) across-country for a new lifestyle in an area that both of us have been to once. Here’s to a happy, healthy new year for you and all!

    Happy New Year! I have been reading your blog for a few years now. As the business part of your blog/life grows (sponsored posts, Stella & Dot)- have you thought about making those a separate part of the blog (and separate social media accounts?) I haven’t been reading the blog as much these past few months because I’m less interested in ads/being asked to buy things. But I love hearing about your adventures (& day in the life of) with your kids around Philly and beyond. Perhaps separate accounts will allow people to “opt in” to your business/ad-related posts so you don’t lose those of us who are here for more of the original content? Just a suggestion. Thanks for asking us to help evaluate the blog.

      Thanks so much for the great advice Leah. I really appreciate you taking the time to write it! I’ve thought about separating but I have people who do like the business posts too – I am toning down the sponsored posts this year a bit, and when I do them, they are typically on a specific day – so if you aren’t into it, you won’t have to tune in! Totally plan to share more adventures! Thanks so much again!
