To Get Caught Up: 1+2 Months With Baby Graham / 3+ 4 Months with Baby Graham / 5+ 6 Months with Baby Graham / 7 Months with Graham / 8 Months with Graham / 9 Months with Graham

We were at the beach for his last two pictures so bear with me, but just know little man is not so little anymore!

Side Note: It’s nothing short of a miracle I get these posts done every month, so please excuse them being a few days late! Ha!

Growth – Graham hasn’t been weighed since his 9 month appointment, BUT I’m sure he’s clocking in at about 1,000 lbs – because thats what he feels like these days. He’s heavy and has sweet little rolls. He’s a solid little man, just like his big bro.

Don’t think I shared this before, but here is Graham 9 months in + 9 months out.

Crazy, right?!

Nursing – We are nursing 4 times a day still. When we first wake up, before his morning nap, before his afternoon nap and before bed. I have to say that I’m looking forward to introducing milk in two months and seeing what happens. As much as I love the closeness and bond we share from nursing, I’d like to get my body back a bit for me. He doesn’t seem to be 100% interested in it these days, he’s easily distracted and sometimes it can only last a few minutes. I have a massive stash of frozen breastmilk in the freezer and in about 6 weeks or so will start lacing it with a bit of whole milk and see what happens! g

Feeding – Graham pretty much likes to be eating all.the.time. If he’s not eating, he tends to get “hangry” so you always got to have a snack or two handy. Could also be a teething thing too, that he likes to have something on his teeth coming in, but still. The kid likes to eat. He also has quite a diverse appetite and will eat pretty much anything put in front of him. He eats and eats and eats {usually dinner lasts an hour} and when he’s done, he’s done.

Sleeping – Graham is a amazing little and goes down to sleep at 7pm, just like big bro, and sleeps through until around 6:30 am – he then usually plays in his crib for 30-45 minutes until I have to go in and get him. I swear, if you are having sleep issues, try putting your kids down early – it’s when their body is most ready for sleep – try it for a week and you might be surprised!

Naps – Still on 2 naps a day. He usually goes down between 8-9am and sleeps anywhere from 1-3 hours! Ha! Usually an hour and a half is the norm, but we have gotten shorter and longer naps. We take what we get. Not sure when Brooks gave up his morning nap, but I am looking forward to when both take the same long nap together – will be easier to plan out the day and have fun in the morning together.

Development – Graham went from just hanging out to being a baby on the move. I feel like he went from sitting up to crawling, to pulling up and now he’s even done a few “cruise” moves. I feel like the time when the babe will just sit happily on the floor goes by way too quick and they are on the go. It’s so fun watching Graham learn from his brother – I think he’s going to be walking much sooner than Brooks {14 months} just because he sees big bro running around like crazy all day long!

Brothers –  These two are the best and love to play together. Brooks is pretty good at entertaining Graham when I need him to – he sings to him, dances for him and gives him toys. Brooks also loves Daniel Tigers – First you get a turn, and then I get it back – so he’s into the whole sharing thing.

Loves – Graham is my happy little babe {when he’s not hungry}. He loves to eat, loves to be outside, enjoys stroller rides, loves watching his big brother do anything and everything, enjoys splashing in the pool. He’s still my little baby but he’s turning into a little big boy so fast! I love watching him grow and explore and learn and play.

I’d love to hear a post on the bedtime routine; do you each put one to sleep? do you read books / do bedtime together? how do you keep both happy at bedtime?
