A Little Nostalgia + Baby Magic Giveaway

Let’s take a moment to talk about nostalgia and childhood.

Anyone else have something specific, a trigger if you will, that immediately sends you back? For me, it’s all about the power of scent that really can get me going on a trip down memory lane.

Sometimes I get a whiff of my grandmother’s cooking – from out of nowhere. Other times it’s the warm feeling of the sun and the smell of a cool fall day, from spending HOURS outside at soccer games as a little.

And this.

This gets me every. time. baby-magic

Hypoallergenic, tear-free, and paraben-free, Baby Magic is made with love and care, which is why it’s been loved by generations of parents – including MY parents, who used this on my brother and I when we were babies! And I can totally remember how it smelled then and it’s the same now – glorious baby scent! Yum!

Nearly 65 years ago, Baby Magic debuted an ad campaign “For Every Lady In Waiting,” featuring designer maternity wear and actual expectant mothers. Today, to celebrate their 65th anniversary, they’re revisiting that same campaign and asked for me to join in on the fun!

How do you think I did – with the pink workout gear, the wine AND the coffee?

Pretty much sums up my modern #momlife

a little wine, a little coffee, a little baby – pretty much my day in a nutshell {only coffee before wine – duh}

So as you know I’m getting ready for my trip, but I thought it would be fun to have a little treat for someone to grab today! I LOVE the Baby Magic Wash and Lotion so much – seriously the smell is so good. I just want to smell my littles all day when they are fresh and clean!

    Oh one for me is going out at before dark and looking for deer. Growing up we had a cabin that we would go to on the weekends, and my dad would always take me out looking for deer. I love them. We found an area by us that has tons of deer…so a couple times a week we drive out and see how many we can see. Our little one loves it and wants to go almost every night! Tonight we saw 2 bucks …24 deer total! Such beautiful animals. Always reminds me of my childhood!

    Girl Scout Cookies. Just opening a box brings me back to weekends and evenings with my mom and dad walking around the neighborhoods near my house selling girl scout cookies. After the conclusion of each night, when it was cold, I would get a nice warm bath before having a cuddle with my mom before bed.
