My New Office Space

Hello Hello!

I’ve had a bit of a crazy week as we did some major reorganization in our house over the past weekend! Brooks spent the weekend with my parents and that gave Charles and I some time to make some moves and put Graham into Brooks room for the two littles to share. We’ve been going back and forth about it for a while now and just wanted to pull the trigger and do it so the boys get used to it sooner than later. I’ve got another post coming at ya tomorrow for an update on all that – BUT today I’m excited to do a little quick look at what we did with the nursery, which used to be Graham’s room….

Ladies + Gentlemen, welcome to my new office!

<insert alllll the high fives here!>

Yes, I am lucky enough to now have my own little space in the house and I couldn’t be more excited. It’s not a huge room and I have a couch/futon in here now as well, for when we have company but for the most part, it’s my little piece of heaven and I’m PUMPED about it!

Obviously, we just cleared out the rooms this weekend and I was able to pick up the desk just yesterday so I’m still in the process of ‘moving in’ and getting everything exactly how I want it. I still have a few things on my list to purchase to really make the space how I want it, but thought it would be fun to share with you some details from my new little office space.

This picture is my color inspiration for the room. Since I’m surrounded by all the boys, I wanted to do a little girly + glam office area just for me. I LOVE the colors in this photo, I’ll have to take a better picture of it, but the grey, teal, pink, gold – all of my favorites all in one beautiful 3-d print!

Also, do you enjoy my ‘XO’ – I picked it up from the Target Arts + Crafts section and Brooks did a little paint job for me with white + gold. I love it so much and the fact that he made it makes it even more special.

I’m also loving this sweet little desktop chalk + cork easel. One side a chalk board, another a cork board – so cute – can’t wait to put that to good use with reminders of things I’ve got gong on.

I also really enjoy this little catch all box for showing off some of my favorite Stella & Dot pieces of the moment. It’s a nice little pop of gold and I love the mirror detail.

I also enjoy this little floral notepad that gives a little color pop which goes perfectly with my expandable file folder, which I need to help organize all the things I’ve got going on these days – especially when it comes to tax season! Wah!

Are you enjoying my color theme? Hues of blues + greens with pops of pink + gold and all the floral.

It’s so nice to have a space for my Stella & Dot goodies, but also for all my new LipSense. I had everything before on the dining room table and it feels so amazing to have a new home for it all not in the middle of the house. I also think having my computer in a separate room will make me more intentional with my time to work and be less distracted with all the craziness going around on the main level of the house!

The room is so bright, full of light and fresh with the white furniture, and all the grey {my favorite!} The boys like hanging out with me in my new space too, and I don’t mind having my little assistants with me to chill.

I’ll keep you posted on new additions to my space but I’m pretty happy with how its all coming together in such a quick few days!

Do you have an office space? How do you decorate your spot where you work? Would love to hear!
